Helpful Tips

The more words you type, the narrower your search which limits the art to view. Ex: Type sculpture and listings that include the word sculpture will appear. Ex: Type bronze sculpture and listings with the words bronze and sculpture will appear.

If you type red paintings, you will only receive images containing both these words in the listing. If a member chose red as a color to describe a painting, you will see paintings with the color red in them. Click Match At least One Word, and you'll receive images that contain any mention of the word red or paintings.

Looking for art by a particular artist, just type the artist last name and you'll be shown listings by that artist.

We also utilize the wild card searching and do it for you. When you type the word: print, you will see any listing that has the word print, printing, prints, etc. Any 'apostrophe' or quotation mark is automatically dropped from the database so do not type an apostrophe or quotation mark in your search words.
